Thank you

Thanks for all your supportive messages yesterday, i'm just so frustrated. I'm not very good at dieting, thats why i'm fat! I know that its going to take a while to get the band adjusted correctly and my circumstances dictate that I just can't get to the Dr's often enough but I will get there eventually.

Taking the kids to the fill with me is a no go. Actually, Isobel would be fine, just very nosey and would want to talk to everyone. If I could drive to the hospital George would probably be ok at a push but the journey there and back is long and I need to use public transport as its in central London and it would be a nightmare.

I am thinking that straight after this fill i'll book another for a month's time and sort out how i'm going to get there after that, Paul is really good and will take time off if possible but he's busy so its tricky.

Despite saying that I wouldn't, I did stand on the scales today, i'm down 1.5 pounds but i'm not celebrating it at all, i'm trying not to care what the scale says at all.

George has been quite ill this last day or 2 so we're stuck at home, poor thing has had a really upset tummy, it was so bad that I had to hose the garden down yesterday, this was despite him wearing a nappy! Awful.

Anyway, sorry for my grumpiness, thanks for your support!

  1. Everyone deserves a little grumpy every now and then (I know I like a good grump--as long as it's temporary). It's understandable when things don't go as smoothly as we'd like. But, it looks like you're starting to turn it around. I always say that it's a waste of time to worry about things you can't change. It's a much more valuable use of time to just find the best way to deal with them as they are. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

  2. That sounds super-nasty...poor you and your poor little boy. I'm sure you can both do without these horrible bugs!

Any joy selling your house yet? We've got ours on the market and keep getting downsizing viewers who want small and manageable...when our house is definately a family home with a massive garden...aaarggh. So sick of scrubbing the house to death and doing all the show-homey type things for viewers who are NEVER gonna be interested. Sorry...you didn't even bring that up and I still can have a rant over it!

I love nothing better than a good rant...keep 'em coming. xx

  3. Thanks Lynda, you are right.

Nothing doing on the house Sparkler, we've had 1 viewer through the estate agents and have been on the market for almost 2 weeks. We've had our offer accepted on the new house subject to selling this. Estate agent says that its really quiet because of the holidays but will pick up soon. Fingers crossed for both of us xx
