Thanks all for your comments on my blog earlier today, I'm so tired that I can't quite think straight, it all seems so ridiculous, will be better after some sleep.
Thought that I would post some pictures from the party, you have had to listen to me go on about it for weeks!
Izzy blowing out her candle,
Close up of the cakes, I made the cake and Paul did the icing, I think that they would have been more effective in white icing but Izzy insisted on pink!
My beautiful boy, George.
Izzy in her new dress posing in front of the magic lolly pop tree! The dress ended up covered in goodness knows what, I've just found out that its dry clean only! Who dry cleans their children's clothes!
Dry clean only??? That's crazy for kids' clothes!
ReplyDeleteThey are both adorable and I love the cup cakes! So cute!
Love the pics, thanks for sharing, now get some rest!
ReplyDeleteSo, so cute!
ReplyDeleteOMG the cupcakes! And the dress! Adorable.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a great party. A magic lolly pop tree - how glamorous. Don't worry too much about school with Izzy - trust your instincts about whether you need outside help with her.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful party! I love those cupcakes!!! Beautiful children too :)
ReplyDeleteOhhh my goodness! I just LOVE the pictures! Izzy looks like such a young lady in her beautiful dress!! Those cakes look scrumptious too!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing!
it looks like the party went off well! I agree the cakes look delicious-and oh..the flake and pink frosting looked beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI have had a dry clean dress or two-i washed them in delicate and hung them try and they worked fine. I am always scared they could all fall apart though.
Good luck with the school decision-making.
xxxooo
Oh Sweet Alison.. I am just catching up.. HOld your ground with Izzy at school.. Mom ALWAYS knows best. .and now on to the party.. those cupcakes look delish!! and what a great job and party.. IZZY IS ADORABLE and she looks like she is having a grand time.. what a great great memory for all of you.. thank you for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, those cakes are beyond cute! And so is the dress! thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteAwesome cakes :) Looks like they were a big hit! Love the dress too!
ReplyDeleteOOOOOO - yum! Those cakes look great. Do you have a handwash cycle on your washing machine? You could always try popping the dress in that way? But don't blame me if it goes horribly wrong! It's probably the embellishments that mean they have to put the dry clean label on, so if you don't mind losing a few sequins, the washing machine might be an ok bet.
ReplyDeleteThose cupcakes are so cute!!! I'll have to think about doing that for my daughter's birthday.
