Natural rhythm

Rhythm is one of those words that I struggle to spell, it just looks wrong and there are too many h's for my liking. My post isn't about odd words or birth control or dancing.

After 5 days of not loosing anything for the last 3 days I've lost a pound a day, I'm really liking this but I think that this is my natural rhythm, I think that I've been so consumed with stuffing my face because I don't loose on certain days that I've never really identified it before, I like it, I may need reminding of this post when I'm moaning because of not loosing.

Today I weigh 14st 8lbs (204 lbs) I think that this is my lowest (I changed my scale a few months ago from one that was wildly inaccurate to a super dooper one) I have lost 3st 10 pounds (52 pounds) I want to get to 12 stone so need to loose a further 36 pounds.

Today I am going to the gym, I'm going to walk back which is a 40 minute walk, I maybe walk there and back but because of the kids swimming lessons this probably won't work out.

Just watching footage of William and Kate (Catherine these days?) in Canada, she is very pretty but awfully thin.

  1. I agree about Kate-- I am at once envious and disgusted... too thin, but wouldn't we all like that problem?

  2. That's always been my pattern-- lots of days of no loss and bouncing up and down, then several days in a row with a loss, then back to nothing. It helps so much to know this because like you said, now you don't have to get upset with the no loss days!

  3. I'll remind you! I think you are right btw. A small tweak is what I need and an attitude adjustment!

    Kate is really thin. I wonder if she is a bit stressed with this new life?

    Good plan for the day. I actually went to the gym today too!

  4. Great loss Alison. I'm glad for you. My body does the same thing, I'll lose .8 or .2 then suddenly it will be like 2 or 3 whole pounds and I just have to be grateful and stay on the healthy path.

  5. Wow - you are so close the 100's (is that as signification to you with the St?) Anyway you are doing great.
    I love Kate(although why do they spell it with a K with she is Catherine? Obviously a pet peeve of mine since my daughter is Cate-O/T). I imagine the pressure to look perfect for her must be intense. Can you imagine having people dissecting all your outfits and hats and shoes?? I agree she looked healthier before the wedding.

    I understand where you're going with the rhythm post.. I guess we should all be learning to understand the rhythm of our bodies - thank you for that!!

    And yes, Kate is entirely too thin!!
