  1. Sick kids, lack of sleep... those are nutrition killers. Stress makes good food choices difficult, even with the band. When I'm really struggling with snacky "stress" eating (like cookies), that is when I try to fill up on protein. If I eat a pouch of tuna, it keeps my stomach full for a long time, which makes it difficult to get in sliders and carb offenders like cookies and chips or whatever.
